If you think you are or might be a compulsive eater you will not want to miss this workshop. Step 4 is the first action step of the 12 steps for overcoming compulsive eating as outlined in the book Alcoholics Anonymous that many use to achieve recovery.

No matter where you might be in the step work process, this workshop promises to be useful in deepening your understanding of this challenging step. While it is difficult, if it is completed with willingness and honesty, it is transformative.

But of course we must continue with the rest of the steps in order to recover. We will never be cured, but the Big Book promises that we can recover and in recovery, not only will the food stop calling us, but we will no longer find our lives to be unmanageable. We will step out of a life run on fear into a life that is more useful and we will find freedom and peace of mind.

We would love to have you join us.

Channel Islands Intergroup is excited to present this series of workshops based on the results of our Member Survey. To listen to Step 1, 2, and 3 Workshops, see the Podcasts page for options. Using the survey, we developed a Strategic Plan for the next 2-5 years, a Vision Statement, a Structure, and Goals, which you can view online in this InterVoice.
