7th Tradition Receipts

We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively.

7th Tradition: There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. After expenses and a prudent reserve, meetings may choose to contribute 60% to Intergoup (CIIG), 30% to WSO, and 10% to Region 2 to keep OA self-supporting.

Channel Islands Intergroup uses 7th Tradition contributions to help carry the OA message of recovery to the still suffering compulsive eater. CIIG expenses include the OA phone line (805-899-3250), the InterVoice bimonthly meeting list with contacts and announcements, advertisements, public information literature, Region 2 delegate conference expenses, and meeting support.
